Usually within an hour. A person reviews every release by hand, and almost all of them clear inside that window.
We won't dress that up as a guarantee, occasionally something takes longer, usually when a release needs a closer look at rights or licensing. If yours has been sitting longer than you expected, message us and we'll go find it.
After approval
Approved releases go to stores immediately. Each platform then runs its own processing queue:
- Instant releases usually appear within a few hours
- Scheduled releases go live on your chosen date
- Some smaller and regional stores publish more slowly than the majors
If we send it back
You'll hear what needs changing in the same window, with the specific fix spelled out.
Fixing and resubmitting is free and unlimited, and it leaves no mark on your account. A second pass is usually just as quick, most artists are approved within the hour of resubmitting.
