Your ISRCs are yours, permanently
An ISRC is stamped onto a specific recording for life. If we issue one for you, it's free, it's yours, and it travels with you to your next distributor, into any deal you sign, forever. Nobody can take it back.
This matters more than it sounds. Your streams, playlist placements and listener history all follow the ISRC, which is exactly why moving your catalog doesn't cost you your numbers.
UPCs work a little differently
A UPC is a barcode drawn from a registry prefix, so the one we issue is registered to us, the same way it works at every distributor.
Practically, this costs you nothing. Your listening history lives on the ISRC, not the barcode. If you move to another distributor, they issue a fresh UPC and nothing about your catalog's history changes.
Bring your own
Already have ISRCs, or your own GS1 barcode prefix? Use them. Enter them when you upload and we'll deliver under your existing codes, free, unlimited, no approval needed.
Every code on your account is visible from your dashboard whenever you want.
