There's one practical thing to sort out: a parent or legal guardian needs to be on the account with you. That's not a judgement about you or your music. Agreeing to a subscription and receiving payouts are legal contracts, and under 18 an adult has to hold them. It's a banking rule, not a talent rule.

What that means for you

• You keep 100% ownership of everything. Your songs, your masters, your artwork, your ISRCs.
• A guardian on the account owns none of your music. Their name handles the payment method and the terms. That's the entire extent of it.
• You run it day to day. You upload, write your metadata, pick your release dates and artwork, read your analytics. Nobody has to approve your songs.
• At 18 the account becomes yours outright: same catalogue, same streams, same ISRCs, same release history, all intact. Nothing resets.

For the parent or guardian

This is a $50-a-year distribution subscription. It is not a record deal.

No rights transfer. Ownership stays with the artist, not with MOOSYC, and not with you. There's no commission on earnings, no exclusivity, no term you're locked into, and you can cancel any time.
