Minimum Requirements to Release Music
Getting started with MOOSYC

You need four things:

• The rights to the music: you made it, or you have permission from whoever did
• A finished audio file: WAV, FLAC or AIFF, at whatever sample rate and bit depth you mastered at
• Cover art: square, 3000 × 3000 or larger, RGB, JPG or PNG
• Your metadata: artist name, track titles, credits, and whether anything is explicit

That's the list.

What you don't need

You don't need a label. You don't need a registered company, a manager, a lawyer or an accountant. You don't need an existing audience, a press kit, or a single prior release.

You don't need to know what a DSP guideline is, either. Keeping up with 43+ stores' rulebooks is our job, and we do that part for you.

You also don't need permission from us. There's no application and no waiting list. A $50 yearly subscription covers unlimited releases at 0% commission.

If you have a finished song and the right to release it, you're ready.
