Use MOOSYC in ChatGPT

Connect your MOOSYC account to ChatGPT and ask about your music the way you'd ask a manager:

• "How did my latest release do this month, and on which platforms?"
• "How much have I earned this year, and which songs earned the most?"
• "Is anything holding up my next release?"
• "How much is in my wallet, and can I withdraw it?"
• "Who do I split royalties with?"

Answers come straight from your MOOSYC account, so the numbers match your MOOSYC dashboard.

It's read-only

ChatGPT can look, never change. It can't upload or release music, take anything down, edit a split, or move money. Anything you want done still happens in MOOSYC.

Connect your account

You need a MOOSYC account and a ChatGPT account. Whether you can install a plugin depends on your ChatGPT plan, workspace, role and region.

1. On the MOOSYC website, open Home and tap MOOSYC MCP.
2. Tap Connect ChatGPT. MOOSYC's page in ChatGPT's plugin directory opens.
3. Select Install plugin, then Connect if ChatGPT asks.
4. Sign in to MOOSYC if you're asked, check what ChatGPT will be able to see, and tap Connect.

Prefer to start in ChatGPT? Open Plugins in the sidebar, search for MOOSYC, open the one by MOOSYC, Inc. and select Install plugin.

In a managed ChatGPT workspace? An administrator may need to turn MOOSYC on first. Send them this page.

Ask away

ChatGPT uses MOOSYC by itself when your question is about your music. To ask for it by name, type @ in a new chat and choose MOOSYC. ChatGPT may ask you to approve a request before it reads anything.

What ChatGPT can see

Only your own account, never anyone else's.

ChatGPT never receives your name, contact details, password, card details or bank details from MOOSYC.

Money comes in three kinds

MOOSYC tells ChatGPT which one it's quoting, because they won't match:

• Earned: already paid into your wallet.
• Gross: what a release brought in before your collaborators' splits were taken out.
• Estimated: a projection from streams the stores haven't paid for yet.

Store data also arrives with a delay, so every answer says the newest day it covers. That day is usually not today.

Disconnect

Either of these ends the connection:

• In MOOSYC: Home → MOOSYC MCP, then Disconnect next to ChatGPT.
• In ChatGPT: Settings → Plugins → MOOSYC. Under Connected accounts, open the ••• menu and select Disconnect.

Changing your MOOSYC password also disconnects every AI app. Disconnecting doesn't delete chats you've already had in ChatGPT.

Privacy

Connecting is your choice, and only you can approve it. Each request is shown on a MOOSYC page first, with the app's name and where you'll be sent afterwards, and nothing is shared until you tap Connect.

What ChatGPT reads to answer you becomes part of your conversation with ChatGPT, which OpenAI handles under its own privacy policy. While you're connected, ChatGPT may share relevant chats and memories with MOOSYC to give your requests context. If you have Memory on, ChatGPT may also use MOOSYC data to offer information or suggestions by itself. You can manage both in ChatGPT's settings.

Something's not working

• "This connection request has expired or was already used": start again from ChatGPT. A connection request is valid for 15 minutes.
• "AI apps aren't available for this account": MOOSYC MCP works with artist and label accounts. Write to us if you think yours should qualify.
• MOOSYC shows Reconnect: open Settings → Plugins → MOOSYC, select Reconnect and approve the connection again.
• "Not available on your plan": ChatGPT decides which plans can install a plugin. See OpenAI's plugin guide.
• "Disabled by admin" or "Admin approval required": ask your ChatGPT workspace administrator to review MOOSYC.
• ChatGPT doesn't use MOOSYC: start a new chat and mention @MOOSYC. If that doesn't help, see OpenAI's troubleshooting guide.
• A number looks different from your dashboard: check whether ChatGPT quoted earned, gross or estimated money, and the newest day the answer covers.
