Start here: keep paying TuneCore until the MOOSYC version is confirmed live. TuneCore pulls music from stores when the plan covering a release lapses, so cancelling early puts your catalog offline while the new delivery is still in transit. Keep it running through the overlap, then cancel.
Safe removal steps
- Confirm the MOOSYC version is live and the ISRCs match
- Sign in to TuneCore and open the release
- Request the takedown or store removal
- Cancel the plan for that release once it’s gone
Leave metadata alone while the two versions overlap. Edits made mid-switch are what confuse store matching. Same recording, same ISRC, no changes, and the handover stays invisible to your listeners.
