Earnings Estimates vs Final Royalties
Analytics & Insights

The earnings figure in your analytics is an estimate. The one in your balance is real money.

The two rarely match exactly, and that’s normal. Estimates are built from stream counts using average rates. The final number comes from the platforms themselves and accounts for things an estimate can’t know yet:

  • What each territory actually paid
  • Whether a listener was on a paid or free plan
  • The platform’s revenue pool that month
  • Corrections to earlier reports

Sometimes the final figure comes in lower than the estimate. Sometimes it comes in higher.

We keep the two clearly separated in your account so you never have to wonder which one you’re looking at. Estimates are for watching a release move. Confirmed royalties are what you can withdraw.
